Not a bad week on the diet, I've lost 5lb in weight. I've tried to stick to the diet as much as I can. I have cheated a couple of times by going over my points on food one night.
Secondly, I've had beer three times this week. I have however counted them into my points.
I'm starting to feel like I've lost weight and my body does feel slightly thinner.
The next week will be difficult because I'm on a customer holiday from work and I can't point my food up. I will have to be very careful and stick to very low fat and calorie food.
Time for a change

Day 1 is today
After various wake up calls from health problems I have had over the past few years, I have tried to lose weight and become healthier. However, after various diets and attempts my weight has yo-yo'd and I'm now obese once more.
The holiday photographs helped me realise that I don't like the weight I am and I don't want to look like this. In the past month I had blood tests at my G.P.'s and the results showed that I am pre-diabetic. This is a term that means if I don't lose weight and change my lifestyle, then I could soon be diabetic.
Enough of the wake up calls and now time for action. I have started on the weight watchers points diet and am serious about this now. Another shock today. I used this machine in the library building and it showed my BMI of 32.4 which should be under 25. Even more shocking is the body fat % which was 31.3% which was very high and should be under 22 %.
Cutting down on alcohol is a part of this plan and I intend to have a drink at the most twice a week.
Well day 1 and I hope to have an update once a week. Each week, I will admit to any cheats on the diet I have made, how hard it has been and the weight loss.
